Yippee.... A Day Off, No cycling, Rest. So Eddie and Rob choose to walk up a mountain (Go figure). Helvelyn, in fact via Squirrel Edge returning by Crisedale. Rations provided by the hostel for a small fee (Apparently small rations for the hungry mountaineers as well). They watched Arsenal beat Man City 2-1 in a pub in Windemere. Dawn and I drove to Kendal and had a look round. Dawn liked Kendal as it retained its interesting heritage with lots of fascinating lanes with notices provided by the history society. Four wheels so much less tiring than two. Saw the sites in Kendal and then realised that I had forgotten my pill, again. So returned to the hostel for a quiet afternoon before picking Eddie up at he ferry (Had to wait a while) before tea at the hostel.
